Producers Alivia Tagliaferri and Nancy Mantelli discussing design components of Beyond the Wall: Homeless Zone documentary (an original Ironcutter Media production)
MEDIA AND EVENT PRODUCTION
Ironcutter Media is experienced in developing, coordinating and producing professional and high-quality media productions and events. From videos, PSA's and documentaries to congressional, charity and civic events, our approach harks back to the principles founder Alivia Tagliaferri learned from her family's management of locally reknown restaurant, Tag's Grille. (1959 - 2005; Williamsport, Pennsylvania.)
1. Preparation, while unglamorous and often unheralded, is key. (And the only counter to Murphy's Laws.) 2. Only use the best ingredients. 3. If it's critical to success, don't delegate. 4. Hire a courteous, professional and experienced staff; be loyal to them and they'll be loyal to you.
We take these lessons learned seriously, and often refer to productions as being similiar to running a successful restaurant. Customer satisfaction and repeat business is dependent on serving fine food and drink (final product), providing great service (delivery on time and on budget) and creating an exceptional experience (the take-away). Customers don't care if there's a proverbial fire in the kitchen, nor should they -- it's the job of a professional producer to mitigate risks and put out any flames quickly and tactfully (refer to lesson learned #1: Prepartion is key). The end result is delivery of first-rate productions for audiences, stakeholders and sponsors.
